Interesting...

I finally got a chance to catch up on news and what's happening in education this morning. I came across an interesting article from the New York Times about a bill that was recently passed in the State of California requiring schools to teach about the accomplishments of homosexual Americans. Now I completely agree that we should honor all people in our country, but I imagine some controversy over this particular article/bill. Check it out and comment if you feel led!

I was checking out my cousin's twitter page yesterday and came across a tweet from him about this new thing called "spotify." Sounded sort of ridiculous, so I decided to research it a bit. It's actually pretty cool. For all you music lovers out there who want to get the latest tunes streamed directly to you for a very small fee, it's perfect. Check out this article from CNN this morning about it.

With Cross Country just around the corner, I thought it would be a good idea to start giving you E-Town runners a few tips on training for the coveted 5-K race. Check out this video for some good pointers from a well-known college cross country/track coach.

HTML What?

Today we learned about HTML... it's a language I think.. not a code. I must say, as little as I will most likely use it... I am impressed with how it works. It's fascinating! Just click the tab at the top of the page entitled "my interests" to see what I made. It's all about snowboarding. I love the sport and think everyone should do it... and dress like I do!! haha enjoy!

Another day

I think I'm finally getting the hang of this blog thing. The hardest part is the initial set-up... but once that's all done, it's just typing new stuff and updating things! Here's a video that only a teacher could truly understand... check it out.
